Well, fuck peptide test

I just think, from what I've witnessed on several platforms, he's a generally decent person who is being unfairly criticized...I don't think he's out here to hurt people, which seems to be the implication. šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I don't happen to think he's out to hurt anyone either. In fact, I've encountered very few people in this space who I would say are intentionally malicious. Most of the controversy in this community is due to lack of professionalism, inadequate risk controls, low emotional intelligence, or carelessness. That doesn't mean those mistakes (if you want to call them that) aren't important. They often are, and we then have to come to a decision about whether or not we think someone is likely to repeat their mistakes and if that risk is something you can live with.

I had to make a similar decision about Nexaph right when I joined the forum, and after thoroughly interrogating Cain I decided that he seemed to have a clear understanding of his errors and was capable of avoiding similar issues in the future, in spite of warnings from folks like @exploitedworkerbee. I was wrong about that, and while it didn't blow up in my face, things didn't turn out well for others. When I questioned Cain about this most recent incident it was clear that he didn't have a sense of what he'd done wrong. I am no longer a customer, and it's not because I received bad product or I think he's an evil person, it's because I no longer trust his judgement.

I chimed in here because I think these accusations are unfair. They fucked up on an email, owned it right away, apologized, and changed their system so it won't happen again. Really what more can you ask, other than to go back in time and have it not happen at all?

It would be nice to no which specific changes he intends to make but that's not my Hill to die on. When stuff like this happens you will always lose some of your customers and there's really nothing to be done about it.

I still don't really understand why PT gets all the hate and Tisch gets none. Tisch is the one who agreed to the arrangement. Tisch is the one who allowed the monopoly to occur - they could have said no, but they didn't, and they were under no duress when they did so. Those aren't even the only 4mm filters available - for someone trying to maliciously corner the market, he picked a remarkably tiny corner.

Without rambling on more, PT gets hate because his communication around the issue was bad: the way he initially framed the decision to ask for an exclusivity agreement, his lack of disclosure about the agreement when promoting the product, and the way he spoke to upset community members. It was one of the rare instances I've seen where someone created 100% of their own problems.

Firing people for making mistakes is how you have a constant churn of new people making the same mistakes the old ones did.

Humans are wired to make mistakes. If you give an employee the task of copy and pasting names into the BCC field when the CC field is right next to it, there's always a chance that someone will accidentally put it in the wrong field. It's a repetitive task where a mistake is easy to be made.

The correct thing to do is figure out a mechanism to fix this process, such as moving to mailing list software that manages the list for you. Now you can't accidentally CC people on the list instead of BCC, you send a single email instead of multiple (unless you are testing multiple variations to test conversion rate), people can properly unsubscribe, etc.

Any time someone makes a mistake, your questions should be on the how and why of it, and very rarely on the person themselves. Sometimes, yeah, it is gross negligence, but most of the time, removing the person doesn't remove the problem, only forces you to spend time/money finding a replacement.
I absolutely agree, I re-read my post and meant to say the person should'nt be fired.

I have a fairly large number of people that report to me or report to managers that report to me and I have never, and will never will, terminate someone because of a mistake. Well actually, the sales guy that got drunk and wrecked his company car, yes, I terminated him.

people getting upset over this filter thing are just looking for something to be mad about imo. Even assuming the absolute worst of the situation still makes it an absolute nothingburger.

An employee screws up an email and suddenly people are digging under the couch cushions for something to be upset about.

I have zero proof but I doubt PT have any employees to begin with. I'm betting it's a husband and wife type operation. Both domains were created around the same time and same registrar. YouTube channel was renamed and still have family videos hosted. Equipment on the tutorial videos are all off the shelf Amazon type stuff. Website was super basic up until a few weeks ago with zero ordering mechanism and both husband and wife obviously knows nothing about technology but are trying.

The husband probably worked professionally in the chemistry field before starting his own businesses carrying over the knowledge. One kid middle class American family easily impressed by entry level sports cars as shown in the YouTube videos. You can dig more records up if you parcel search the provided names on the tests, assuming they're real.

But yeah they need to consult chatgpt before doing anything next time. They're hustling hard but are making some mistakes.

Pretty sure peptide test is just one guy who signed a marketing agreement with Trustpointe Analytics who was looking for a way to reach customers.

Then you have trustpointe analytics who truly is a husband and wife get up who worked in lab quality control in the pharmaceutical industry.

This used to all get talked about out in the open in a certain testing server.

Two distinct businesses. One lab and one marketing/supplies business that has an agreement. Different people. One registered in MI, one registered in TN

Makes a lot more sense that it was a typo, lol. I was thinking "damn GimmeABreak is cold AF, saying people should be fired around christmas time"

I do believe he's mentioned hiring a couple of extra actually employees, but could be mistaken or something could have changed without my knowledge. I do know that it was getting to be too much work for one person and the plan was to hire some help.

I
Speaking of kitschy shit I won an ugly 3d printed storage book on the Reddit cluster fuck telegram. Anyone want it before I throw it out just pay the shipping

Iā€™m not even sure its purpose since it only holds a few vials and takes up a ton of freezer space
Iā€™m in that TG group too, what a time šŸ˜†

Fucking Reddit weirdos
I joined and didnā€™t participate and won the drawing so I got sucked in lol

Got a free t30 from amo tho
We all started somewhere, reddit subs were definitely my gateway to grey peps but Iā€™m continuously a bit afraid for some of the folks in that group šŸ˜
