The only red line was my 4mg. I’ve since stalled and wondering if I should go up to 5 tomorrow or stay with 4. I’ve been packing on muscle with surfing almost daily so I’m not sure what do do…Jumped today on 4mg. Started from 1mg and titrating 1mg up every 3 weeks. So curious if the magic dose of reta (4mg) is a real deal, or just another urban legend 😉

I tirtrated from 3mg to 4mg 2 days ago and definitely can feel the difference. Don't say it's something more unusual than before, but as everytime I boost the dose it hits me harder. The only red line was my 4mg. 5mg a week. I feel like I need to change it to every 5-6 days though. By the end of the week, I can eat like normal, like, food noise is completely gone. Still super slow digestion, so that isn’t any fun.Weeks 1-3, 1mg
Week 4, 1.5
Steady 1.5-2 lbs/week at this point
If I switch to Reta, that is my plan as well. It took me forever to get past the starting dose of Sema, so I wouldn't anticipate Reta being much easier on my system.Week 1 .5mg
Week 2 1mg
First time on Reta, no issues
Currently finishing up week 8 of my journey on 6.5 mg this week. Started at 229, and down to 204 today working out 5-7 days a week doing 30-40+ minutes of incline treadmill on-top of daily workout routines.I know everyone is different but I read a lot of posts where people start at low doses and don't need to titrate up that high of a dose.
I'm curious as to if people go all the way up to 12mg like in the clinical trials, if if they have reaped most benefits at lower doses.
So my question is:
How long have you been taking Reta for?
Where along are you in your journey?
What is your current dosage?
