If you're wanting to get vendor refund/replacement protection, yes. Me personally I could care less about that. Jano already costing me $300+ for the testing, shipping and the straight up hassle of sending overseas. Kind of silly for a kit that costs less than the test. At this point in life I'd rather just buy a kit and wait to see if reports start popping up that it's bunk, or sacrifice a vial to Finnrick for a couple bucks shipping, and if it's bunk take the $300 Jano fee saved and just buy a another kit elsewhere.

Finnrick does not have a good reputation as far as testing is concerned. I wouldn't trust them.

In his latest interview, on YT, Peter Magic said his primary test machine cost $400k. It also sounded like he has a couple other ones for specific tests not handling by the primary one.

From scratch all new equipment to modern QC standards $600k start up and $400k annual operating costs. At least that’s my VERY ROUGH educated guess from similar business models available to me professionally. (Accounting/finance) maybe less depending on what method you want to do. Plus the knowledge to ‘tune’ the system so to speak…. It’s not an easy peasy task.

It's easier for a vendor to do refunds and admit fault (even if not their own) than to actually do an investigation to the heart of the matter.

Who got sick? How do we KNOW they purchased it from this vendor? How is it only TWO people who got sick from a vendor who sells hundreds and thousands of kits a day? How do we KNOW they didn't mix up their own products and/or take the whole vial, etc...

Why did this happen to the retatrutide vials only and not something innocuous to big pharma - like ipamorelin or PT-141? Why reta?

I'm assuming we're on the same "skeptic" page... This is why I don't trust Finnrick. I emailed them multiple times asking how they confirm the veracity of the vendor claimed to be on the report. Shocking all I received was "crickets..." zero responses to 4 emails I sent to them.

There are people with a lot of followers in the pep community that are completely full of BS in my opinion. When I see real evidence other than "other people don't like them for their sketchy business model" or "people don't like them because they use labs other than Jano" or "they might send your sample to a lab that sucks", I'll be alarmed.

How is it that there is only 1 lab on the entire earth that is trusted for peptides? Literally NO other lab with competent scientists can do the job? I agree with you and constantly push back on the cult mentality in the peptide community. There is a lack of independent thinking here and it hurts my brain beyond belief.

Jano got in on the scene early testing AAS for the bodybuilding scene. The legal structure in Czechia also allows them to get away with testing controlled substances out in the open. It truly is a matter of "because its the way it's always been done". Jano has had controversy in the past as well. it's compounded by the fact that Chinese vendors will only honor Jano tests for refunds. Probably partly because they know it's an expensive hassle and most people aren't doing it, thus their risk of having to back up bunk product (which is pretty rare given how much of this stuff gets purchased every day) is very low.

Good point and while I have nothing against Jano, I do support the competition of ideas, and in this sense, the competition of labs available. Jano's history with AAS is 1 thing, but these are peptides, which to me, should significantly broaden the ability for other labs to be utilized. Especially more local ones. I'm going to sleep, I'm tired lol.

Equal capability to Jano? That would be ridiculously expensive. And it would be unnecessary in the US because there are plenty of substances that he handles that you would not be allowed to lawfully handle here. However, some of the largest costs will be hiring people with the skills to conduct such tests.

Then you should be able to purchase HYB reta from other users for very cheap.

It reminds of the time when I had to flee an erupting volcano in Guatemala. Some people had built houses in areas that had been destroyed by a previous erupting volcano around 20 years earlier. Fortunately, the volcanic eruption that I fled from wasn't as bad as and didn't damage those houses. But yes, by being skeptical, you put yourself in a great position to get bargains just as those Guatemalan citizens got great deals on land.

The whole idea of paying a lab to test is so that you can trust the lab. Go ahead and pick the cheapest lab. But if you're going do that, you might as well skip testing altogether. Just ask ChatGPT whether your peptides are safe. From the little I heard from Janoshik about Peptide Tests, he seems to rank them as being above his other competitors. Using them will save you some money due to less expensive shipping, but as others have noted, most vendors won't give a refund based upon a negative Peptide Tests result. Since the goal is to save money, just pass on buying Hospira water. The stuff from your sink is good enough.
