Now that they’re under such close scrutiny, it would be downright foolish for them to keep doing it. All of us will be keeping a close eye on them, and I think they know perfectly well that there won’t be a second chance. Also not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but Stairway to Grey (STG) has removed JEEP from their vendors area. It is not just us complaining here, but the audience is much bigger in the dissatisfaction with JEEP's handling of this issue.
Sadly I expect the fact that the bad result went viral on TikTok probably created a lot of the pressure.

And people like littledragon25 working tirelessly in the background to help influence the bosses was probably key to their turnaround.

For me it’s the fixing the batch numbers that will be a key win, if they also start adding endo testing to every CoA it will change the entire industry.
 
It may sound foolish from a U.S. perspective, but in Italy it really isn’t. Our legal framework works differently, and in situations like the one I described, the level of protection is actually higher. And thank you for pointing out that things work differently in the U.S. I’ve learned that now.
And let’s just say that in countries like China, they don’t exactly take these matters lightly for the vendors.

Well… “ Your first response was genuine and revealing”: You said what all of us had actually thought, every single one of us.
I even told Molly that the difference between their first reply and the second one was… “notable,” to put it mildly.
But honestly, if Jeep really does what they’ve announced, then taking a more ‘political’ approach is simply the most rational and beneficial one.
It may look a bit hypocritical from the outside, but in business that’s how things work: you give something and you get something back.
They refund people and start the new procedures; customers get what they’re owed and, going forward, better and properly tested products.
Jeep doesn’t lose clients, and they don’t have to start from zero.
That’s the only approach where everyone actually wins.
In this context, I genuinely understand your ethical position, I really do, and I respect it. But if Jeep doesn’t follow through, then all of this becomes meaningless, and they’ll have to face the consequences of that choice.
