Anyone ever hear of Alpha+Omega peptides OR pure peptides?

both are making and selling their own BAC water which is way cheaper than HOSPIRA now. i asked for sterility results and Pure said they are working with 3rd party testers now and Alpha said that its just water and alcohol. not a professional response

Mine is stuck in customs, too, and I only ordered 5. 😕 All this fuss for a tiny bottle of water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol.

Times are a changin’! 🙃
My 5 bottles have been stuck in customs since July 15. I received a letter in mail from the FDA indicating that I need to respond. I thought about responding that it was recommended by my vet for my pet’s injections. Have you had any traction?

I hope this is right. They sent me a letter I need to respond to but I’ve feel uncertain if I should respond.
A seizure letter or something like that? No need to respond to that, as the situation would be hopeless:

Would they really seize bac water???

I am wondering how long I should give it before asking the vendor if they reship or refund?

It says detained, subject for refusal because it is a drug that lacks instructions for dosage.

Unfortunately, it is game over, as far as your chances with the government.

The shipper may be willing to reship at a discount. I would contact them, just to see. But, of course, a second shipment could be detained too, or at least delayed.

It seems that the conventional wisdom from places like MesoRX which have a lot of experience in this area is to absolutely never respond to the letter and hope that the vendor has some kind of re-ship/refund policy.

Apparently responding not only never works, but more importantly seems to guarantee being added to a "list" of names and addresses that will forever be subject to inspection of anything that has to clear customs.

Responding is an admission of guilt. Just accept the loss.

Do you think this is something that would mess up Global Entry? I mean its not scheduled drugs

Mine is probably exactly the same batch. I am sure BSC sent our packages at the same time. 5 bottles stuck since July 15. You probably got the letter first since you are on West Coast. It will probably take a few days to get to me here in Orlando.

Did you contact Birth Supplies Canada and let them know?
So it came certified, you had to sign for it?

If you respond to the letter, maybe. If you don't, I doubt it. Either way, you can't un-do it all so whatever's going to happen is going to happen, but like you said it's not controlled so if it does raise questions worry about it then.

Thanks . I heard people getting suspended for peptides though and that is not controlled either

The letter was not certified so I did not have to sign for it.

I did send birth supplies an email asking them for their advice and this was the response:
We haven't run into this before so I'm not sure. Do they give you an option to dispute since it's not technically a drug?

Any time we've had a country refuse bac water, it was shipped back to us. An that has only been European countries so far. US has never denied bac water before.

I think I’m going to reply to the letter and indicate that is not a drug, I will share the response from Birth Supplies and indicate that it has a purpose in my disaster preparedness supplies. Since I live in Utah, that’s completely feasible. Someone told me to say it’s for my pets and that it was recommended by veterinarian.

Like @ZippityDooDah says, what’s done is done. May as well reply and see if they will release it. Who knows, maybe others will get released as well.

Fake handbags aren't controlled either. It's not about that. It's about customs.
Fake handbags are different because they are counterfeit. Counterfeit items are illegal. Peptides are legal for research purposes though using it for for human injection is not. Bac water is not a scheduled drug nor is it illegal. I do see a clear difference. You may be right in the sense that customs doesnt but they should and they likely do.

And the letter posted , which I am expecting to receive is not really a violation , which counterfeit items would be , but rather a notice that the item is intended to be used as a drug and lacks instructions for use. In addition, the letter posted has an FDA heading, not a CBP heading - again this might make a difference but of course I am not an expert

I don't think anyone has a valid reason for explaining its use. A prescription from a doctor or a veterinarian or proof that you work for an institution using it for research. Without any of the above , best to ignore the letter and let them destroy or return it.

So my fingers are crossed that the worst that comes out of this is loss of $40.

I wonder if a good use/explanation would be diluting nasal spray like Afrin. That stuff is strong. And I have actually diluted in the past, but its not safe to do that with tap water.

And you know those foreigners are just wasting the profits on poutine donuts and maple coffees ☕️ 🍁
I will contact them for the refund to eat into the profits..... Pun intended. Hopefully they do something , even partial refund. Not sure I want a reship. Do not want to go through this hassle again.

Well that’s the most decisive answer I’ve received as to if I should respond or not. Noted. Thank you. …..Now to find someplace in the U.S. with BAC water in stock.
