How much weight have you lost?

I could not get my last 75 lbs off just with low carb. Took me about 7 months to lose the 75 lbs. Then I went off it for a while, and started to gain back, then went back on tirz, and got off it again. Now I'm on sema, which is a bit more affordable for me. Thinking about trying reta more to get the last 9 lbs off I regained, and then hopefully to get rid of my lifelong asthma. I've read others haven't had to use their asthma inhalers after months of reta.

I did it in stages. Had a duodenal switch in 2001.. lost 120 lbs. kept it off until 2013- gained 50 lbs back from a medication. Started semaglutide in 2022- lost nothing. Switched to tirzepatide- lost 60-ish in 8-10 months but I was exhausted all the time. Switched to Reta, down another 15 lbs or so. I’m 50 lbs from goal..

I lost 83 pounds in 18 months. Reached my final goal in February and have been in maintenance since. Still working on tweaking the best maintenance plan.

Before glps, I had gained about 50 pounds while getting a masters degree. I work remotely and working from home, then sitting around studying and reading in the evenings for 2 years packed on the weight. I started with compounding for 2-3 months before stumbling upon XCE. I read as much as I could find before making an XCE purchase and the rest is history.

70kg or 154lbs . Male 50's 167cm sw 145kg cw 75kg Started 3 years ago lost all of it before starting ozempic a year ago, using it to try to not put weight back on, rather than to lose it, I would ideally prefer to be under 70kg but under 80 is amazing compared with where I was. Weight up and down a few kilos over the past year or 2, swapped to tirzepatide 2 months ago, nowhere near as nauseous as I was on ozempic, but still hungry on 15mg/week. I would really like to keep the weight off long term, longest I have ever succeeded in the past is 3 years before starting to put weight back on. Added in a couple of mg of reta over the past week to see if it helps, too early to tell yet.

Down more than 80lb on the scale and up a bit more than 20lb of lean body mass per dexa in 10 months

Tirz for 3 months then reta since then
TRT (enough test to get me into the 700s of total T, 80mg deca for joints) for 9 months
4IU HGH for 6 months
Hard lifting 5 days a week
Some cardio, bad about doing it consistently

Is it possible that some of that 50 is visceral fat? When women reach menopausal age (including peri-menopausal) visceral fat gets larger and is carried lower on the body. It is notoriously difficult to lose. I lost 90 lbs quickly on Reta but the fat on my upper and lower abdomen wasn't budging. I decided it had to be visceral and added tesamorelin. It's finally melting away, but I have a ton of it, so it'll be months still. I added ipamorelin to help burn it faster and they work well together. I'm still on Reta for the blood sugar control, but I'm convinced Reta doesn't work for this kind of age related visceral. Maybe on younger folks but not on folks over 50.

As of just now, I am down 25lbs in 16 weeks!!!!! This was after the scale not budging despite tons of gym time, intermittent fasting, a juice cleanse and phentermine. My first month was on 2mg of Tirz under the care of an NP friend. Bumped up to 4mg for month 2 and then went up to 5mg. Went gray because I am out of NOLA for the summer and she couldn't prescribe/pharmacy wouldn't ship/I found here. Switched to 2mgs of Reta last week because I actually welcome a little bit of food noise and want to see about preserving muscle because I lost all my gym gains! I am now 3.2 pounds from GW, though my ridiculous "smart scale" seems to think my ideal weight is 138lbs. 🤣Not with these curves, sugar!
