If you get overfill from a compound pharmacy is it full strength or did the overfill dilute the concentration? So is the overfill too much BAC water in the mix or does the vial get filled from a bulk mixed jug and then just too much put in the vial?

Curious if this is why some vials hit harder than others. I am still using up compound waiting on US warehouse of gray to restock.

I tried to explain during my stay in the compound world, but the Redditors could not wrap their heads around the fact that the overfill was most likely only liquid. Actually, reducing the concentration slightly and likely creating a small underdose. They were convinced it was free, Tirz. The math part actually makes much more sense when you reconstitute yourself with a reliable COA or 3rd party test to verify the actual overfill.

Sorry, but that just doesn't make sense. They are not filling the vial with the compounded solution and then adding additional mystery liquid of some type to create an overfill. People were resistant becuse you what you were telling them would lead people to over dose themselves.
The high volume 503B pharmacies batch compound first then fill vials to the tune of 10,000+ vials per batch. Zero dilution with overfills.
This is the answer.

Even pharma overfills some. I'm sure its built-in tolerances to make sure they don't underfill (much more problematic than overfilling). My wife was on zepbound vials straight from EL and the concentration was for 0.5ml, but they were generally filled between 0.65 and 0.7ml. I'm on trt (compound now, but pharma previously) and the 1ml pharma bottles are generally filled to like 1.1 or 1.2ml with that as well. Pretty sure its just standard practice to avoid underfills and other variables.
