Does anyone know why someone would get banned on TG when they haven’t done anything. I’m REALLY new to TG and do not know all the in’s and out’s of it. I joined a couple vendor groups to watch the interactions before buying. Essentially trying to do my due diligence on reviews vendors but I keep getting banned. I know at one point I had my real name on it but then was advised to change it and I did. I don’t really interact on it. Is that the issue? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

This happened to me once when there was a requirement to prove my existence as a human and not a bot that for whatever reason I was not automatically directed to do. I emailed the vendor and asked for another chance, then tried again. Turned out that there was a welcome thread where I had to post the answer to a math problem. Thankfully it was simple addition - I am terrible with numbers.
Just reach out to the vendors and see what they say. We have no idea why you were banned, but they will! ☮️
Oh ok, I didn’t see anything about that but doesn’t mean I didn’t miss it! Lol I’ll try to reach out to them. I’ve tried to read through the groups but Lord there is soooo much info at times I get overwhelmed! Thanks for the info!
Many Discord servers have a "read this first" type section of their channel list (table of contents). Many also have a Verify or Verification channel which simply requires that you click a link to verify that you're real.

Most of the TG sites I frequent (and there are many) don't have the same verification bot requirements as discord. And, yes, don't use your real name! What server(s) were you bumped from? That is really kinda weird, imo.
