I am 50+ and currently take Triz 7.5. I lift 5 days a week (for the last 30 years). I am looking to loose another 10+ pounds and would like to boost my energy (im always tired) would like to gain some more muscle. I am looking to reduce my Triz and add in Reta. Any other middle aged guys have recommendations to add to my stack?

I’m 51.

So… I am on Tirz with Reta, I love it. I have definitely noticed a difference with it. Pounds are dripping off of me. I’d love to see a six pack. And I believe this is attainable with this stack. No food noise. I am in the gym at least 5 days. Lift, walk, and stare at my wifey as she works out too. LOL.

I also take Glow, Semax/Selank, and TRT. I love what I feel with this particular stack.

After much reading & testimonies… I want to try MotC, SS31, and NAD. It’s supposed to be amazing.

I’ll probably drop Semax/Selank for a month and attempt this new set.

I will not give up Tesa. Tirz/Tesa is an amazing combo. I’m sticking with it.

How are you dosing? Do I just kinda wing it and see what feels right? Do you take Tirz + Reta + Tesa together?

That depends on your metabolic health and a number of other details.
If you're "sluggish" you may benefit from a round of ss-31 AND Mots-c, or even just jumping to Reta from Tirz or adding in even a 500 to 1000mcg bump of Reta added to your current Tirz dose.
Without knowing more details about background health data it would be just random shotgun naming of peps for anyone to suggest too much more.

You should look up "mitochondrial protocol" in search. I'm going to run it periodically.

CJC+IPA is also a nice addition, as is GHK-CU.

I struggle with weight, but, other than that, I am healthy. Tirz got my weight down to 183lbs (start 207) and I am 5ft10. So, weight is not bad (but I want better. Would love to see some abs).

Well Mots c ans Nad essentially do the do the same things not exactly but close enough one dossnt need use them together.

Ss31, semax and selank.. well id use only one or the other.. like Ss31 or Semax and st rhe start of the day. Selank I find helps much more at night like hr before bed idea.

Tesa use in the morning as well and id run reta at night for my shot.

Ara290
Nad+
Mots c
Ss31
Epitalon (run 3 weeks 3 x yearly idea)
Cjc dac/impormelin
Hgh but this stores water

Cognitive/sleep
Semax
Selank
Dsip?

Treziptide vs. Reta vs sema, well many use sema during a cut now belive it or not.

This is
Fat - Retatrutide + MOTS-c
Recovery,injury healing - BPC-157 + TB-500
Healthy aging,energy - MOTS-c + SS-31 + Epitalon
Muscle retention and recovery, CJC-1295 w Ipamorelin

Personally Retatrutide at 4mg weekly spilt between 2mg and 2mg like Mon and Friday idea.
Works really well but everyone's body is different. By getting bloodwork proper you can see whats low as to which is causing you low engery.. winging it isnt really the best way when its so easy to get your bloods

What type of blood work should I be requesting?

I am two weeks into this protocol I built based on a lot of anecdotal stories on this forum. I am 54M

51M here. Here's my $0.02:

Reta 2.5mg/wk - down 20lbs in 3 months (27%BF to 18%BF). Just titrated up to 4mg/wk after a two week stall in weight loss.

KLOW - 2.5mg GHK-Cu, 0.5mg each KPV, BPC157 & TB500 daily. Knee injury healed, about to finish 3rd vial and cycle off.

CJC/Ipa - 250mcg each twice daily for a month. Great sleep, highly recommend it. I place a high priority on sleep for recovery and energy. If your energy levels are low, give your sleep hygiene a critical look. Bed time routine starts at 10pm every night. CJC/Ipa helped me fall asleep right away.

I stopped CJC/Ipa and started HGH this week. Supposedly better than CJC/Ipa for older people. Got IGF-1 tested before the switch, results still pending.

Tempted to try SS31 and MOTS-c due to reputation, but kind of sick of pinning so much.

I highly recommend blood work… I did see someone else has posted this as well. Checking overall metabolic health too.

Also… I take 5mg Tirz once a week and 2mg Tesa nightly. The Tesa is supposed to be taken on a fasted stomach. So I don’t eat after 8pm. Ever. Tesa does help with sleep. I am also taking 5mg of Creatine nightly. I sleep like a baby.

Tesa is a secretagogue… read about it before you jump on it. Blood tests help for this too.

I do not currently use Reta. I have no experience with it.

Not sure I would swap to Reta from Tirz. Especially as you seem to be doing well on Tirz and only want to drop another 10lbs. The sides of Reta aren't going to help your feeling tired one bit.

I also would say that you probably don't need a bunch of other peps (though its fun).

HGH and Test are going to be your biggest bang for the buck. Especially if you are comfortable getting bloodwork. You can most likely get prescribed TRT at this point.

Trying any of the other healing/anti inflammatory peptides is also worth a look. BPC-157,TB4(TB500),KPV, GHK-Cu. The cognitive stuff is also fun to research; Epitalon,Semax(Adamax,NA),Pinealon,Ceberolysin.

To circle back though most of that stuff is going to be like trying out random supplements and just as effective (meaning not). TRT,HGH and your current GLP-1 are the heavy lifters here so I would recommend focusing on getting those dialed. Then dabble with which ever other stuff that you feel like.

TLDR; TRT

Hi, I noticed that you are always tired. Have you been tested for sleep apnea?
Yes, I was tested like 3 years ago and I have moderate/severe. I was placed on wegovy and lost weight. But, my insurance stop covering and I gained back most the weight... I started compound Tirz 5 months ago and the weight has come off nicely. I figure most of my sleep apnea was from the extra weight?

Could be weight related, might not be tho. Either way, if you're not using it, put that damn mask on man lol. Sleep Apnea will screw you all the way off. 100% compliance it the only way until your doc says you don't need it or your monitoring you sleep everyday and you have <5 ahi a night!

I was never prescribed the mask. To be fair, I never really discussed it with my Dr... My DR wanted the sleep test to see if insurance would pay for the wegovy (3 years ago).

I'm older than you, so I am self declaring myself an expert in old guy stuff.

I'm using a very low dose of Tirz, 1.5mg. I'm going to add MOTS c and Ipamorelin in about 10 days when I finish my SS-31 cycle. Tirz is just not going to cut those last 10 lbs of stubborn fat, just my opinion.

Outside of that, I think it's all about diet and exercise and sounds like you already got that part. Only thing else I can think of is that I am thinking of going back on some form of TRT, maybe just a low dose of Enclomiphene which does work for me, so my test creating machinery must still be functional. It doesn't work as well as exogenous TRT and there is not much of anything I have seen that will match that in body comp improvement, well not anything legal really.

+/-60 here
I would say TRT was very helpful but I tested bloodwork and studied thoroughly prior to starting.
It can cause estradiol issues if you are still high BMI, I waited to normal BMI to start.

The NAD-MOTS-SS31 combo seemed to be helpful combined with supplements.
A lot of the fatigue can be low caloric intake: pump up the protein to help with energy.
I would focus on mitochondrial support, supplements, and diet until you get closer to BMI range, although many start TRT sooner or other secretagogues to increase T, which is definitely a game changer. Keep in mind these will raise the scale slightly but help with composition.

STEP 1 is blood work:

My Energy-supplement cycle
After looking at many suggestions this is where I landed, keep in mind the SS31 is more commonly used at upwards of 30-40mg, but most protocols call for 5 days of 5mg.
Build the NAD up before starting and after finishing SS31
The SS31 should help the MOTS be more effective
Definitely take TMG when NAC or NAD dosing

Here is a great thread to read:

60 here, 5' 11" at ~160 (started at 250) and 12-13% body fat. No weight issues for 5+ years. Feel like I'm 40. Abs are fun, loose skin can hide stuff but the fun part is rebuilding the body so the loose skin is filled by muscle.
Mots/SS31 should help with metabolic health and indirectly there's an energy boost. Not a Red Bull boost but morelow key. We (the wife and I) like to say it makes us more "jaunty" and willing to walk more than our usual 4-6 miles per day. Like not amped up energy but long term endurance to just keep going is enhanced.

Keep after it, and make sure diet is on point or most of the various peps are just wasted if you're not optimizing nutrition to aid their signaling. I look at it like don't take the car to a mechanic if you're gonna just put crap fuel in it anyway. A finely tuned machine needs better fuel and more maintenance, and let me tell ya, nothing tastes as good as good old physical fitness feels.
I used to take 30-40 ibuprofen a week, and now haven't taken one in 2026. Peps, diet, activity, and positivity are all helpful- 👍👍

Great job! 12-13% body fat, Amazing! Yes, that is the type of energy I am looking for!
