People who switched from Tirz to Reta, how are you finding it?

I posted an log/update of sorts in this thread, admittedly I'm not at the max dose of Reta.

I saw a lot of people were switching and wondered if anyone went back, or if they'd preferred Reta and why?

I prefer reta because i had annoying constipation on tirz. But reta seems to make me kinda cold and i have a bit of allodynia on my arms. I can eat more normal meals without getting sickeningly full and still losing weight steadily.

I like the ability to eat more and more variably with ejoyment. With Tirz we had to schedule days of enjoyment on the weekends right before pinning. Now most days I can enjoy something moderate and without TOO much food noise at constant weight.

However, inflammation is definitely still not as controlled, and I might go back to Tirz just for that. Perhaps at a lower dose (5-6mg/week) and with Survo to keep maintenance. I don't know that I would have chosen Reta for significant weight loss based on my Tirz experience, but I've never had to go very high with Reta (6mg/6days likely moving to 7mg/week).

I've been titrating off Tirz, which I was only on for a month before starting the slow switch to Reta. Started Reta 1mg MWF, then titrated Tirz down to once weekly at 7mg (keeping the 10mg overall load I had when taking Tirz).

Now doing 2.2mg Reta MWF then 3mg Tirz Sat. Eventually will likely hold as long as comfortable at 3mg MWF Reta only. Steady 1.5-2lb weekly weight loss. Dexa scan end of this month so I can see how the visceral fat has gone down. Been stacking with Tesamorelin so between that & Reta I would think there will be reasonable reduction in VAT, but we'll see.

I think this is what is causing a lot of my problems, I have some water retention, a little lower back pain, some swollen ankles. Nothing really serious but enough that I want to do something about it.

Is there anything I can stack with Reta or is going back to Tirz the better of the two options? I didn't really struggle with any bad sides and I went up to the max dose, but it was getting crazy expensive.

From the reading I've done (recommend looking yourself), the anti-inflamitory effects come from GLP1 (not GIP or Glucagon) agonists. Reta is very low in that relative to Tirz. You could stack Sema with Reta, if you're comfortable with that sort of thing (two peptides that hit the same receptor), or you could stack Survo with Tirz (search for "ghetto reta"), Cagri and others. There's too many to choose from (Maz etc).

Was on mounjaro pen for a month (2.5mg), decided it was too expensive. Started reta .5mg per week at the same time. Didn't have any side effects until last weekend. Was on the toilet for 3 days straight, I think it all caught up to me. I'll probably take the golden dose from the tirz pen wait a week and start back on the reta at 1 mg. I'm having really good appetite suppression and fat loss on low dose.
