PGB Membership

Just from my short amount of time, PGB seems to be the vendor you slag on the least. I do appreciate the backstory you share on here about vendors.
At the moment they’re the best of a very flawed bunch in my opinion. I would love for a Chinese vendor to step up with good quality, aggressive prices, and reasonable service though.

Have I shared much of the PGB backstory? In short they started as a group buy model where the vendor, XCE, did everything (including collecting payment via paypal and fulfilling orders directly to customers), and jlo/PGB just did the sales part and collected a fee from the supplier. He was basically drop shipping. Everything was cheaper than if you were to buy kits directly from XCE because they were honoring high MOQ prices but doing all the work of an individual sale.

When XCE got busted, PGB transformed into a domestic crypto-only vendor where jlo/PGB is doing all the crypto stuff, manages the website, and fulfilling orders. Their stellar reputation is largely due to how good XCE was, but there is a lot of inertia behind it so it's been very durable. In my opinion you shouldn't judge the current form against that old model where it was basically PGB riding the good work of XCE, but people do. Present-day PGB is basically a domestic vendor with so-so pricing and a mostly good quality record with some isolated hiccups, along with a lot of hoops to jump not because they're pretentious but because the owner believes it provides some legal protection.

The impression I've always gotten from you is 'They used to be pretty great, now they're reliable and relatively safe-ish compared to what else is currently available'

Yah that’s basically it. Prob best to think of old pgb and current pgb as completely different companies, so little in common between the original MO to the current one.

So do we know who “current PGB” uses as a supplier? Or do they shop around the same as everyone else? It sounds like they had a good thing with XCE but without that solid supplier behind them, is it only a matter of time before the quality issues hit them too?

The narrative being pushed is that their current supplier "XYX" is actually still XCE. There's no way to verify though. They have another supplier they have ordered limited stock from, and they appear to be looking for other vendors, they recently tested a zero peptide sample from a supplier they were vetting.

I'm curious if a lawyer has actually advised him of that being the case. I am skeptical that putting some AI generated images of cards up and calling it a "membership card" when everyone knows what the deal is is going to hold up in court.

I don’t know for sure, I’m speculating. He did say that he consulted with an attorney back in the day, so I know he has one and they advise him on PGB stuff. I assume the convoluted “you’re buying a membership that happens to come with peptides” is a legal maneuver because there’s no other reason I can think of to do it in such a confusing manner.

I'm a lawyer and I have no idea whether you're right or not about their practices being useless. My guess is that the best lawyer to talk to about something like this is a lawyer who works for compounding pharmacies.

In theory based on PGB's business model if a quality issue hit them we wouldn't know it since they offer items already tested. (Assuming that's their business model, I could be wrong).

I haven't seen them succumb to the "pre-sale" frenzy cash grab that looks like a transparent use of impulsive thirsty (hungry🤣) buyer's funds instead of risking their own. I'm looking at that company in Wyoming, China or China, Wyoming. I also order from them, but only if there's test associated. And I believe in his tests... He's replaced product that I didn't even know tested "poorly" (I don't consider 98%+ purity poor).

I will say I ordered 4 kits of their MOTS-C and that shit gives me a lump for weeks. Like some cancer ass lump...

Thought it was pH related, but when i mixed it with some pH balanced bac water (about 2ml of sodium bicarb water with regular bac), it foamed up and turned chunky.

I didn't see the right colors on the test stick when I tested the pH on it reconnned with only bac water.

I should go over to their forum and post something about it, but i'm too lazy.

Ok so what I’m hearing is:
PGB = SPC
Minus the thirst trap pre-buys
Add numerous barriers to access
Add cool CGI trading cards member passes

PGB does pre-buys. I got their T30 on Black Friday sale pre-buy. They sell stuff at a discount before it's in stock all the time. They won't ship until testing is complete though. But that begs the question: will they be able to make good if they sell large volume pre-buy and it's a bad batch? Luckily it hasn't happened.

PGB's is way more polished with a group sense of security vibe:

Forum, website, trading cards, riddles and puzzles,
Cheaper than CN if you include testing
Fast Shipping
Good Product

SPC is more of an autocracy. Sole individual acting as autocrat and press secretary, crisis manager:

Janky Discord, website reminiscent of a Covid era toilet paper isle, elaborate web of lies to insulate him from Lilly (I don't begrudge him).
Cheaper than CN if you include testing
Fast Shipping
Good Product

I order from both because I wasn't choosey what I ate to make me fat and now that I'm skinny I don't care where I get what keeps me there! As long as I get it... Highly recommend PGB and SPC!

it's happened. Multiple times.
And that one time they sold BPC tabs and it was actually teso 😬 (actually they couldn't even tell you which one was which, so it might've been either)
Now they don't even offer things for sale until testing bares it out.

That's good to know. That's an approach that's very safe.

Yeah the teso/bpc fiasco........ I forgot about that one. They seem to have learned from that at least.

I noticed you didn't say "step THE FUCK up" this time around and honestly I just don't know how to feel about this development 😢

I thought they moved to sell only in stock items last year after the BPC/Teso incident and that one T60 buy that took a while to arrive.
