I’m now fully transitioned to Retatrutide (750MCG X 4 Doses) from Tirzepatide (5MG X 1) and have noticed horrible fatigue/sleepiness. After digging deeper about this peptide I’ve come to learn that:

  • Fatigue Risk: Moderate to High. ⚠️ Many users report fatigue, especially in the early phase or when dose increases. It’s a triple agonist, and central nervous system modulation can cause sleepiness, brain fog, or low energy.
WHAT’S YOUR EXPERIENCE? 🤔

I've seen this in some threads and will be curious to see what people chime in with. Especially if some may weigh in with comparison regarding this subject and sema vs triz vs reta. Did you get the fatigue with triz?

I'm fairly susceptible to fatigue, like even catch a mild cold, i get smacked down with it pretty hard.

I have done a lil research with a very small dose of .5mg reta 3x per week and have observed benefits without fatigue. so that was good, but take it with a grain of salt because i'm not so sure what i have. it was sourced from research chem companies so for all i know it may have been any of the 2 others relabeled as reta. I'll be stepping up my game soon with an order from one of the providers more experienced people around have commented favorably about.

How much is your weekly total dose?

Great input friend and to answer your question, I had zero fatigue/sleepiness on Tirzepatide. I was on Tirzepatide for 3 months.

I have read and heard so many positive stories about Reta. I wanted to love it but the fatigue, sleepiness, and lethargy was just too much for me to handle. Like you, I experience very little fatigue/sleepiness from Tirz outside of the normal feeling of sluggishness due to major caloric reduction.

Sema - Did I lose weight, yeah. That was mainly due to the fact that I felt like I was on the verge of throwing up every single second I was awake and couldn't even look at food. Tried to tough it out for 4 weeks, the dose never went up and I never felt any better so I said "Never again!" As far as fatigue/sleepiness goes though I never really felt much on Sema.

Tirz - Up to 12.5mg per week. Feel sluggish at times but can still get done in my life what needs to be done. Steadily losing 1 to 3 pounds a week. I have never had a sweet tooth, Tirz gives me one for sure! I could eat gummy bears and drink Sprite all day and be the happiest dude on earth 🙂 Good thing I can only eat like 10 gummy bears before I feel like I am going to explode.

Reta - Started at 2mg per week then bumped it to 4mg. The most tired and fatigued that I have ever felt in my life was the first time that I had covid, Reta at 4mg was a close second. Falling a sleep at my computer desk, not taking the trash to curb to be picked up... crazy tired and lazy stuff like that. A little dizziness to go with it, almost felt slightly hypo the entire day but a little different. Blood pressure was good, blood sugar was good. It was concerning me enough that I got my blood drawn to check things out. Everything came back looking normal except estrogen was towards the low side of normal, a first for me as I am typically at the high side or normal. Quit Reta and started felling normal within 10 days.

Sema never again, but I will give a Reta another try in the future and report back. Hopefully I was taking something that wasn't Reta and I can enjoy all the benefits with the rest of you all 😉

I asked the Peptide Whisperer himself, Hunter Williams with his wife Taylor, on this morning’s YouTube live, about this exact question and they suggested adding NAD+ and MOTS-C into my stack. Since I already take NAD+, I shall be adding MOTS-C into the research. Let’s hope I get my energy levels back up. If not, I might go back to Tirzepatide.

ANY THOUGHTS FRIENDS? 🤔

Thanks for your comment. Like you I am going to try to hang in there for a full month and if it doesn’t get better after adding MOTS-C I’ll go back to Tirzepatide. See my comment about my question answered by Hunter Williams above. 👆🏼

Mots-c did nothing for me. I tried a couple times, but with and without SS-31 first. Glutathione does more.

Thanks for the feedback. Since basically I'm right about at the starting line (and also could very we'll have been researching Triz anyways) I'm trying to decide if to start wit T or R anyways since i need to buy a larger amount at once.. I read someone share (in here i think) an opinion that it may be a good idea to start with a glp-1 or 2 before going straight to a 3. to sort of leave some ammo in the crates if further firepower is needed for later. Made some logical sense to me.

I'm still in my learning curve on these. Can either of you share reasoning to opt for Reta over Triz? Some possibilities that come to my mind for reta are possibly faster result (nice but not as important to me) and (more important) greater preservation of muscle mass with possible added bonus of less desire to drink and hopefully even the nicorette gum too..

oh yes, almost forgot, other benefits of interest, that i'm sure i read about for reta but not sure if triz can help with also.. reduction of: visceral fat, fatty liver, and blood pressure.

I'll probably pose this to the greater community as a post but since we are talking, give you two the first crack at it if you care to share any opinion.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. it helps!

If you don't mind me asking, and only if you don't mind, are you Male or Female? I'm curious because you mentioned estrogen levels and it would have different implications based on that. male here.

I am going to try to hang in there for a full month and if it doesn’t get better after adding MOTS-C I’ll go back to Tirzepatide.
Have you considered the tirz/survo stack? I just got my survo order. But I just changed my dosage and schedule so I can't start the research just yet.

I found this interesting. Sub-Q? I don't want to assume it because based on your background you may have access to IV infusion. Would be nice to confirm if sub-Q works with Glutathione as IV would be outside of my reach. Any personal theory for the boost? Increased liver function?

The reason people feel sluggish on these drugs is because you aren’t eating. Other peps might give you a boost but it’s artificial. We really need to focus on what we are consuming and that we have a balanced diet. We are starving ourselves on purpose here to lose weight. The GLPs just make us not think about it.

So im titrating down from 10mg tirz due to muscle loss and am currently at 1mg reta 3x weekly ( total weekly dose 3mg)
Still, eventhough redundant am at 4mg tirz and soon to be at 3mg. I did experience fatigue but NAD+ did help and even tried tesofensine which didn't sit right with me. The best thing to combat my fatigue which I no longer have was constant eating. I started trying to break my meals up into atleast 6 small.meals and as long as I had calories to burn i got rid of the fatigue. Tirz and reta are both great to me and I do see the advantages of switching to reta but I will say for me tirz helped a bunch with Inflammation

Could you please tell me more about the Tirz/Survo stack? I'm willing to try anything because I hear so much good about Reta.

GREAT QUESTION… 👍🏼

I’d love to share my experience with you. A couple of years ago, I started with Semaglutide (GLP-1) after hearing about it from a friend. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me and even made me feel a bit nauseous. During the six months I was on it, I didn't notice any significant decrease in hunger or cravings. By the time I reached my seventh month, I felt it was pretty useless, so I decided to stop. Interestingly, I even ended up gaining weight during that time.

Fast forward to April of 2025, I tried an online virtual care doctor and got a prescription for a peptide called Tirzepatide (GLP-2), and it was a total game changer! I lost 30 pounds in three months by following a low-carb, no-sugar diet and working out five days a week. It really opened my eyes to the fascinating world of peptides. Now, I’m exploring some exciting options that BIG PHARMA might not want us to know about!

Currently, I’ve been on Retatrutide (GLP-3) for two weeks after transitioning from Tirzepatide. Recently, I experienced horrible fatigue and tiredness, which got me curious about whether my peptides were playing a role in that. To my surprise, I found out that Retatrutide could be the culprit. It was eye-opening since I had only heard about the amazing benefits of this peptide!

If you're curious, I recommend starting with Tirzepatide and seeing how it works for you. You can always upgrade to Retatrutide later if you’d like!

SORRY FOR THE LONG REPLY! 😬 Keep me posted on what you decide to do friend. BLESSINGS..

Look in the forums under Survodutide for allot of great discussions. Especially the stacking ones. From what i gather, when stacked with Tirz, it is essentially like Reta minus some Reta sides? I will do my own research and see for myself🙂

  • Investigational/Trial Medications
  • Survodutide

Thank you! 🙏🏼 I’m still a new researcher so I’ve never even heard of Survodutide. AWESOME SAUSE! Tell me how your research goes..
