To be fair this behavior is what our current medical establishment has trained us all to do. Doctors hand out a prescription and most people just mindlessly take what they are told to take. People are harmed all the time by the medical industry. It is in fact the #1 cause of death. Is taking something a trusted friend gives you all that much more dangerous? I'm not so sure that its something we can answer.
It's my understanding that the leading cause of death (both in the US and worldwide) is heart disease, which still supports the "what she's doing is technically less dangerous than not doing anything" point, to be fair. As to the second question, I guess it depends on who the friend is, but I see your point. I know humans are going to human, but man, I so badly wish they would human a little less chaotically and put some thought into it.

IMHO, the leading cause of death is birth. Once a person is born, that person is practically guaranteed to die.

In order to make people think that medical errors are not the #1 cause they separate the problems. Misdiagnosis, dying during surgeries, medication errors, denial of care .. etc. Officially they list it as the #3 cause of death .. but that data is disputed. Furthermore the CDC hasn't even bothered to list it as a real cause of death.

For example let's look at maternal deaths. One study they did proved that most of the women died due to negligence .. but do they list the cause of death as negligence? Nope.

Sadly, I'd estimate that more than half -- probably closer to 2/3rds -- of people experimenting with research peptides have no idea what they're doing. Fortunately most peptides aren't going to cause permanent injury or death, but the fact that people are just guessing or following whatever random information they can find online is terrifying.
It is terrifying and sometimes aggravating- which is my inner-bitch-no-more attitude from Covid2020 speaking. I became feral.

I’ve tried being considerate, but I’m mostly WTAF are you doing dumbass? I direct them to sources to read, but most don’t wanna read shit. They just want to spank that easy button that society has potty trained everyone to expect.

See? Fucking feral. Sorry your friend got roped into this.

Ima shut up now.

Yeah I can speak on that a bit. Birth accidents. You know what else they can cause? Cerebral Palsy. Doctors skate by on damage to babies delivered improperly, especially in the era where underaged mothers were basically placed in the hospital basements to give birth like cattle. It was the 1960’s and that fucked me up for the rest of my life. I’m lucky tho, I got a minor case of it. Most end up in wheel chairs hardly able to chew their food without the spasms causing meals to be thrown about wildly. It’s awful and doctors were to blame, however they never were held accountable… EVER.
