Stinging/Burning with Amopure

Finally opened my L60, late August delivery, and researched on two subjects, separately.

When asked one "did it sting?", pat came the reply " how did you know?".

The second one said it felt "hot" on the site for 20-30 minutes immediately afterwards.

No change in dosage, hospira bac, and same needles. Moved from Red Rock to Amopure.

Amopure won't tell what's driving it.
Not sure of they know exactly or it probably would have been fixed.. They won't seem to tell what filler is being used ..could be a filler issue but who knows 🤷‍♂️

Yikes! I know a lot of people recently got their mid-late August shipped 60mg from Amo tested, and everything came back looking good (I know that's not an indication of stinging, just mentioning it). After the test came back, many people have been using it and reported no more stinging, and so thought that issue was resolved. But, it sounds like you're saying it's just inconsistent from batch to batch?

Maybe someone who got in on that group test could weigh in.

Anyone’s order shipped from Franklin Park, IL? R10 or T60.
Yes, my first shipment (from anywhere) says shipped from Franklin Park, IL—8 days from order to delivery in Dallas.

I got T5 and took my first dose of 2.5mg a few days ago with zero stinging. First self-injection ever! I will definitely reorder from Amopure and hope they expand their inventory.

5 days between "awaiting item" and " arrived at origin facility" means it was likely international shipping and not actually shipped *from* there. That's just when USPS finally got their hands on the package. For international shipping that's pretty speedy! I believe their domestic warehouse is actually in New Braunfels TX, as my order had left the origin facility within 24 hours.

I ordered a kit of L60 and C10 from amopure while it was 40% off for Labor Day. I haven’t tried the L60 yet, but literally minutes ago took a 1mg dose of the C10 and it burned like hell. I’m now a bit nervous to try the L60 now.

Cagrilintide burns anyways. I bought a bottle from astropeptidesusa and it will light you up. I used my L60 from labor day and it's not an issue. Definitely test it out soon

I purchased Cagri from Skye prior to this and never had this issue.

I need to try them. Astropeptidesusa even with hospira burns but it definitely works like a charm. I don't mind the burn to get the suppression it gives

If it didn't ship from New Braunfels TX, it originated in China.

T30 arrived 8/8, shipped from TX. Fresh Hospira, dissolved quickly, clear solution , vacuum sealed.
No sting for 2 separate injections of 2.5 and 3. No burning, pain, or adverse reactions. Unsure about appetite suppression so far because I just ate a pepperoni calzone (yes it was delicious) and finished the whole thing when it was not possible before. Maybe it is time for a larger dose.

I don’t think testing has anything to do with the stinging

I don’t think testing has anything to do with the singing because that’s not what it’s tested for. Kits that have been stinging tested just fine so it’s not a volume or purity question.

No, sorry. I wasn't implying the testing could find the cause of the stinging. I was more trying to say that a bunch of people just had vials tested and were likely waiting to start using them until the tests came back. Now that the test is back, there's a fairly large sample size of people who've just broken into their bottles, but it doesn't seem like that's caused a new rash of complaints about the stinging.

May the stinging be due to the PH? I tested mine, it's here somewhere. I have had stinging from amazon insulin injectors. The needle is so thin it warps when drawing up the peptide. I have had stinging from the same vial not in any order 1st week 2nd 3rd or only one but with tz at least 1. Maybe my injection site technique. I still have a discolored abdomen patch from 6 weeks ago that itched like crazy, and scratched it to death so therefore .....Point is, I react sometimes half the time, same pep always hospira bac, now trying a pen which I would love if it did not leak. What we must put up with for these health enhancing meds is for me now worth it. YMMV.

Just curious...
Which amazon injector are you using?
Which needles?
Where and how much is it leaking?

I got some from PepPens and love them so far. I have read the smaller the needle size the longer you have to leave the needle inserted to allow the peptide to disperse and dissipate the back pressure. I leave my inserted for 15 seconds after injecting and only have a tiny small drop of fluid on the tip of the needle when I withdraw it.

Do the pep pens automatically insert the needle too, or does it just disperse the selected dose?
What do you mean about automatically inserting the needle?

I absolutely love the "insulin" pen I use. Got it off AliExpress for about $17.
After you load the cartridge once each time you add a needle to the end. You then use the dial to select how many units. When you are ready to give the injection you push it in.

It is very easy to use and you are not injecting yourself with the same needle that you just used to draw up your dose - something I absolutely HATE doing and refuse to do if at all possible.

Pen I bought:

I think I will make a separate post on this as I feel others could use this info in a place where it can be found.

No. You have to insert it manually but I don't even feel it. I am using the 31g x 8mm Medfine needles that I got from Peppens when I placed my order for the pens
Peppens is just one of many websites selling Chinese injection pens.

Check out the Peppen thread
It has links to videos and some discussion on them. When the pens are on sale you can get them for $15 each. :)
