I am on tirz now 12.5 units, and I want to switch to Reta since I've been at the same weight for like 3 months plus it seems. Would I just start the lowest? wait a few weeks inbetween? I notice with tirz when my shot wears off I get hungry again. I dont want to gorge once I stop.

This is my exact situation. Hoping more people chime in.

At 9 months after starting GLP1/bio hacking, I stalled out on weight loss at 5mg of Tirz. Instead of titrating up, I added Reta. Starting at 2.5mg, I flipped Tirz to every 5 days and Reta also on its own 5 day rotation separately from Tirz as I had read multiple articles about not stacking the 2 on same day as they hit similar receptors and you get more bang for your buck by using on separate days. Reta isn’t a great appetite suppressor, however it speeds up your metabolism that helps with energy and staying even through out the day. No nausea . No gut issues at all. I eventually moved Reta up to 5mg and Tirz to 7.5 staying at 5 day rotation and on exactly one year-I hit goal weight SW 211 GW 130. That was in May. I’ve lost another 5 not really trying. So I fluctuate between 130-125 on a weekly basis. I’ve created a starting maintenance by backing off to 7 days rotation on both, and Tirz5mg/Reta5mg. It’s working thus far and along the way am researching a few peptides/amino acids that among other things give muscle mass encouragement. NAD+, MOTS-C, AOD 9604, Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin etc. BTW- I’m a 67 year old male , previously very athletic, trying to get this aging body back into shape. Strength training 5 days a week, walking daily, and meal planning for my partner and myself that keeps us protein focused and cutting out sugary/salty snacking, especially after 6pm. Reta was a perfect match.

Thank you Dentuck! I'm going to try Reta and order Tirz. I was out of town for a few days I did my shot, didn't eat bad and the scale is creeping up. Stalling for alteast 3 months. I'm over it. I want to work out too, but I just have no energy. I got an order of NAD, and Klow while I was gone. I was hoping that helps with energy.

I’ve been on mounjaro/tirz for over 3 years. I lost 130 lbs. I want to lose 30 more. I still take 15mg tirz but have stalled the past year. Thinking of lowering tirz and stacking Reta. Hoping to break my stall.

I also stack NAD+ twice a week and Tesamorelin 5 days on/2 days off for 4 week cycles. SW: 222 CW: 132 GW: 125 it’s been just 13 months with stacking all 4.

Oh great info!! I'm at 10mg tirz and been stalled for like 2 months. Was thinking of switching but I will try the stacking every 1/2 week kind of and hopefully that will work since I did get stocked on some Reta in case this happened.

I’ve been on 15mg Tirz since April 1, but wanting to make the switch to Reta. From the countless experiences I read, Reta at the start, does not help with the food noise. So instead of completely stopping Tirz before I started Reta, I found that many were just stacking it. But carefully at first.

So I’ve stayed at my full dose of Tirz and introduced Reta last week. Still have my food noise suppression from my Tirz though. In time, as I get closer to 6 or 8mg of Reta, I’ll titrate down on Tirz and eventually stop taking it.

How many days in between each? Are you alternating 1 a week or doing a dose mid-week?

From what I've read on Reta, 6 or 8mg seems high. Have you noticed it working better?

I’m on 3mg every 3 days. I still have to fight through food noise. We have to do our part!
