Thought about QYC/Shanxi Qianyecao Biotechnology

okay i think i understand now. where's the vendor value add to this then? if there's 10 people in this group buy. 5 people pay 150 plus they sacrifice one of their vials, and then the other 5 folks pay 150 as well to subsidize the other 50% cost of the tests... and the vendor gets to use the tests as marketing material. idk what i'm missing but drawing the short stick as a lottery winner sounds kinda shitty here.

(as you can probably tell ive never participated in a GB before).
I'm sorry I didn't make it clear:
- The 5 "lottery" winners would get either half or ALL their testing cost refunded by the vendor, sorry if that wasn't clear. So the 5 winners would pay like $75 or $0 for their tests.

No group buy works like this.

My current dislike of vendor group buys is potential for bias on the vendor's side: Essentially when a GB occurs, the vendor chooses a couple people who want to sacrifice a vial, and then the VENDOR sends those vials in to get tested

The key above is that the participants never actually received their kits yet, so there is NO guarantee that the vendor didn't just make a juiced up couple of vials, pick a few of THOSE vials, and send them in, then send the ACTUAL kits with vials from another batch.

Chain of custody is everything, and if the vendor can pick/choose which vials to send to the testing company, no customer can actually be sure that is what they received.

Totally on board with your reasoning here and it makes complete sense. I'm there with you.

It's frustrating though because I've tried re-reading your previous posts describing how this process would work and my brain is just breaking, lol. I appreciate you trying to clarify though. It's probably pretty simple and I'm in the minority here. Hopefully after some other folks discussion I can manage to piece together how this would work and why it's a fair value for all participants involved.

Hey all,
Here is what I pitched to Rebecca vs. what their idea was, I won't tell you whose idea was who's, I think a proper generalized vote of both ideas might give better insight into their team as to which way is better:

First idea: For each person who gets their vials tested (either through Janoshik or Peptide-Test), if their customer name is Shanxi Qianyec Biotechnology, then they will reimburse those customers for their test costs.

Second Idea: Run a group buy with a lottery system for subsidized tests, say 5 random testers. Other people can participate, but it is one LARGE group test, all testers send in their own vials, and then the lottery winners get a large portion of their test costs refunded. If there are additional testers, they pay their own costs, but receive a benefit for the economies of scale of the test costs.

Type (1) for the first idea preference, or (2) for the second idea preference.
I feel like 2 is the only way to ensure chain of custody and no vendor bias. It proves the vendor is providing what they said they would, best purity in all vials sent and they don’t choose what gets tested, so no cherry picking etc

Hello all,

Anybody tried Shanxi Qianyecao Biotechnology aka QYC? What was your experience?

They seem to have very competitive price, at least for Tirz, but are also very new and I couldn't find much info on them either.

Thanks!
I’m on my second order with them, Amy did my order and I came exactly as promised and pictured. From my experience they are here for us and is always looking to help out. Quality was way superior to another vendor that I previously ordered from. Vials were vacuum sealed like they should be and I have a feeling they are also overfilled for satisfaction. I can feel the difference from other vendors. Solid!! Order came faster than I expected. Hope this helps

okay, i'm just gonna say it, this is the most obvious shill i've ever seen. 2 comments, registered 4 days ago, and talking like this about one particular company when they say they're from "SoCal"?

I was very suspicious at first, but I don't think it is one, I wouldn't know why they would wait days after creating the account to add that comment.

Also I did a reverse lookup of the pictures and they are not seen elsewhere.

Of course, this does not prove anything

I think the pictures not being on google + 4 day old account instead of 1 day old account are minor data points when faced with the big one that no one types like that about a black/gray market vendors, lol. hell, i'd be suspicious if i saw anyone type like that in a review for ANY company, domestic/legal or otherwise.

Yeah idk, new members tend to type like that, it's a new exciting market afterall and without many comparisons it's hard to be negative

"they are here for us and is always looking to help out." come on man, no new person is typing stuff like this even if they're excited about their first or second purchase. i'll drop it though, neither of us have proof either way this just tingles my bullshit detector deep into my bones so i felt it needed to be said.

Yeah you're right, a legit review is coming for real once I receive my order
