I have several vials of tirz (not reconstituted) in the freezer. I want to take them out for about a day to travel, before refreezing them.

I heard that freezing then defrosting degrades the Tirz, is this true?

What would you guys reccommend?

Do you have a nordic ice pack or something similar? I would wrap them in an insulated bin as close to the nordic as as possible. Maybe some dry ice but I think that would be overkill.

I would just try to keep the variartion as low as possible.

Unreconstituted Tirz is very hardy. Don't inconvenience yourself too much.

I have some of our members describe Tirz as the cockroach of peps... I have seen Jano quotes stating it can last years in a garage with minor degradation.. I would feel real comfortable personally, tossing it in a cooler. My understanding is significant temperature swings can be detrimental.

Is it best to freeze in a padded carrying case or as it was delivered?? I have to drive from Reno to SEA it will probably take me 2 days..
I have not yet received my package and o leave in a month.. or would it be better to just not freez until I get to my final destination??

For a few weeks I would keep out of freezer and at a decent controlled temperature till you leave and while traveling, if you want maybe bring it in with you overnight or keep in a place in you vehicle that will stay mostly the same temperature. Jano would probably say it will be fine if you just throw it on your dash

Thank you. I really appreciate it!

Recommended to not refreeze due to risk of breaking the seal and allowing air/moisture in. Should be fine in frigo for 6+ months if lyophilized (Studies are all over the place on this). I would not travel by air with an ice pack of any sort or a vial with 'white powder'.

I travel with reconstituted Tirz, enough to cover my trip. Good for 21 days at room temperature.

So it shouldn’t go in freezer for storage before recon?

disproved via Janos study
I totally agree with this. Funny thing, I popped up to see what's going on on reddit yesterday. The new talk with compound tirz from what I read, is freezing it and then rethawing it in order to save their stockpiles. I guess if you have tirz and are cutting it close to the BUDs. They say in the sub that it still works fine. I don't know if I would do that with my reconstituted vials myself. I just thought that was interesting.

Hereon, I'll be reconstituting/freezing the whole tirz kit at once, and thawing each vial when its turn comes.

Honestly, some of these soft-drugs "never" superstitions are as nonsensical as Italian national food rules. Like Italian Food Rule numbers 267/268: never let foreigners know that we don't actually only drink espressos after 10am, and never tell them about the existence of the café macchiato. Your risk profile may vary.

Great analogy!
