The info is here regardless of you sending them to it or not. It just oozes gatekeeping superiority complex. An option on the forum I used to mod on was newcomers needed a minimum post count before being able to post in certain sections. Maybe a minimum amount of days before they could come out the Introduce Yourself section would work? I just don’t get the point in replying to every newcomer with the same “learn it for yourself” responses. It would be the same amount of effort to say “here you go”.
