Want to stack sema......

But how do you compare that to just taking an additional 2.5 mg of tirz? The reason I ask is because I would be willing to eventually go up to 20 mg of tirz (or maybe even more).
You make a great point. I did both: I increased tirz (8.5 to 10 - weekly dose) and also added sema 0.25 4 days later.

Sema is very strong on the GLP-1 component - and anecdotally - better at hunger management food noise suppression.

Before adding sema, my tirz wasn't enough to control the desperate hunger, that one that is still present even after eating a decent size portion. I didn't have any fullness feeling and had constant food noise. I didn't even feel it in the first few days after my shot so I clearly needed to go up.

So I tried increasing tirz and adding a sparkle of more glp-1 to see how it would work, based on other people experiences. It worked really good and that "hunger desperation" went away.

Ultimately, maybe 10 tirz + 0.25 sema is equal to 12.5 tirz? And my jump was the equivalent of 8.5 to 12.5 tirz and that's why I'm seeing the difference. No one truly knows. I'm not scared of going up in tirz, in fact, I'll probably will increase tirz to 12.5 first if I see the issue, and then jump on sema 0.5, etc. As I'm getting closer to GW, my body is probably pushing back heavily.

I'm ok to go over 15mg of tirz, and/or add more sema on top - in fact both have higher trials going on. Sema going to 7.2 and tirz unknown amounts but supposedly 20-25-30 range.

I totally agree 👍 Those last pounds can become frustrating. They will eventually come off. You're doing the #1 thing for your body that only you would know. You're listening to it and treating it accordingly. Only you would know that. This is why it's such a personal preference.

Someone had posted a cool graphic, I cannot find it now.
It basically shows the strengths of each GLP-1, GIP, and Glucagon.

It seems the crux of the argument involves sema's ability to provide satiety.

Retatrutide, tirzepatide, and semaglutide are all glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists, a class of medications that help with weight loss and blood sugar control. Retatrutide is a triple agonist, targeting GLP-1, GIP, and GCG receptors, while tirzepatide is a dual agonist targeting GLP-1 and GIP receptors, and semaglutide is a single agonist targeting GLP-1. Retatrutide is generally considered to be more effective for weight loss than tirzepatide and semaglutide, with early trials showing up to 24.2% weight loss.

here is a graphic i did find, though the other has scoring system.

I like the idea about taking reta. I would love to try it. I don't think that it would be a good option for me because, I have heart issues. In my case, I go with what I know. It's all a matter of personal preference. But, yes, reta sounds like a great med. 👍

Ok, now I'm coming to ask you, lol. When did you start adding sema to your tirz? I hope that you don't mind me asking. I like the feel of the both of them together. I just think that I had to increase my tirz dose. I'm at 12.5mg now, and getting up there, and will probably use the both of them at some point.
Hey there, youarenew2this.
Welp, if I'd answered your question spontaneously, I would've said I waited until taking higher doses of Tirz to add Sema.
But it turns out, I would've been accidentally lying, oops.
Your question got me wondering, so I (finally) checked my records — and it seems I began adding Sema less than 2 months after starting Tirz, when still at low doses. Wut?! I was surprised to discover this!

ps. I've read thru some of your posts here, and find we think/feel/choose very similarly. So naturally, I think you're great and you're doing just fine ;)😂

Thank you, so much! I feel so much better just knowing this since, Iamnew2this. I've been on tirz since September. I actually started with Mounjaro from my doctor. My insurance didn't cover it. In October, I started compound. It was great and still a bit expensive. I finally took the plunge with these peptides and I'm happy where I am now. I like having the autonomy to listen to my body and take care of it from there, and like the price. I'm very happy that I found this forum. I feel more confident now. Great minds think alike.😂 Thanks for getting back👍
