I did not understand Tracy's Walmart explanation, but I do now. I don't know how their business is setup but I'm gonna call them "franchisees". You ordered from Alisa, which apparently is a different "franchise". Someone here tagged Tracy. And to be honest, I thought QSC = Tracy. He may not own the company but he is the general/sales manger. Apparently, QSC does not = Tracy. He does not have anything to do with Alisia or what ever the other name was.I can understand if that's that case but if one team is hurting the brand then it would be a concern to me.
If I ran across an issue that couldn't be resolved with another team's customer I would definitely try to help and resolve the issue. I wouldn't get all defensive and blame the customer or the process that was used. I 1000% know how to use BTC and have used it since 2012 so that's not an issue.
Even then, if he tried to help me fix issue and maybe contact his manager or whatever then say in the future you can place orders with me. It would have showed very good customer service and gotten him a customer on his sales team.

At this point, I'm unsure about QSC as a whole because how do I know what team I'm ordering from? How do I escalate an issue? I've been ordering for a long time so how do I know Tracy will still be the online rep next year or the year after that? That's why we trust a company and the reputation of the company, not a single person.
The time and effort it's taken me to deal with this is not worth the money that I might be saving. With things like this in the grey market I want reliability and to trust who I'm dealing with. This is where customer service is even more important as people have said, if you get screwed there's no one to address. You just have to eat the loss.

New members will go for the vendor with the most traffic, but this vendor in particular sells unfinished oils (they need to be filtered) and most new members have no idea what that means. 100 % this is correct. No problems until you do have a problem - and you are out hundreds - and they really don't care because there is always someone else to take the risk and take your place. Meanwhile they laugh the whole way to the bank for taking your money and no recourse for you - tough toodles is their motto.And this is why I don't like that people recommend them. They may have good prices but there have been so many issues with the way they treat people it's just not worth it. Things will probably only get worse over time because there aren't any consequences for this behavior. They've essentially stolen your money and they're not giving it back. If I go to Starbucks I expect to get the same treatment all the time. I'm sure other people expect the same, there is obviously other contact info out there that is not part of your operation but using the same name and even pictures. They also represent YOUR company. I'm sure I'm not the only one that found contact info that's not yours.

Ive seen people talk about them, mention rock bottom prices, then caveat all the things that can go wrong and have gone wrong.

X1000.99.9% of the time someone's bad experience with QSC can be traced to an expectation that came from within the customer, not an expectation that Tracy set and then failed to meet. Tracy isnt promising consistent cap colors, quick tracking, payment confirmation, service with a smile, etc etc, yet people are coming out of the woodwork to gripe about their failure to deliver these things. If you need any of those things, no amount of complaining is going to get QSC to provide them. In exchange, you get the best prices and consistently acceptable quality.

You're not wrong. QSC started a race to the bottom for prices. Their customer service blows, but like them or not, they are big enough that they can move the entire market. Other vendors have had to quickly drop prices. ASC was posting "deals" just a month or so ago that were so far above QSC's that people were literally calling Tuk out on what a joke the "deals" were. With real estate we understand there are individual agents and if there's an issue you can still contact the actual broker. That's what they're there for, but not in this case. I’ve had great success with Tracy, did plenty of reading about pitfalls, kept orders simple, minimized my risk in advance as much as possible. It’s not for everybody.

I'll wait for @Qingdao Sigma confirmation, but based on what's been said so far it seems like each sales team sets their own policy, so there is there is a meaningful difference between ordering from Tracy@ QSC and ordering from someone else also affiliated with the company. If you want the level of support Tracy provides, you need to buy from him.

The issue is there's no accountability when there's an issue. My orders went fine for years since 2021 and I've probably spent plenty more than you but if there's such an issue over $135 then I'm not comfortable risking a larger order.
