    Long Term Integrity of Vials

For my longer term storage I plan on storing them in a vacuum container with desiccant. There’s no meaningful light degradation in the freezer, nor high temps to age the rubber… it’s a thought I’ve had, but I haven’t found much reason to fret.

...have done a ton of experimentation around keeping moisture levels intact. I also do a lot of work with semiconductors, where the topic of desiccant packs comes up a lot. Unless you have your desiccant pack inside of some sort of high molecular weight container, you can expect that it won’t...

Depends on the print. You can print out a case with a tpu seal that will do a decent job.

    Storage Cases for the Freezer?

Desiccant packs really don’t work very well if there’s any sort of seal issue. None of these 3-D printed cases are going to do a good job keeping moisture out. Perhaps if you use a mason jar or sealed in some sort of mylar bag or something.

...enough to hurt the peps. Hence a lot of people insulate their peptides in the freezer to keep them safe. Right now I am rocking a hydropeak with some 3d printed inserts that let me store 64 vials in it. I also 3d printed 2 desiccant holders that fit in the space of a vial to keep...

...and the thermos gives it an extra layer of insulation. Works great in the freezer. For moisture control I throw in a couple Micro-Pak bentonite clay desiccant packs and keep a Govee Bluetooth hygrometer inside to monitor temp/humidity. Total setup runs around $50-65 and everything's on Amazon.

    Desiccant Packs in your containers.

I bought desiccant on amazon, $6.99 for a large amount, I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest. It's orange but turns green when it's sucked up enough water, then you put it in the oven or microwave, as it dries it turns orange again so it is reusable. I have hydropeak with silicon...

    Desiccant Packs in your containers.

The vial sized desiccant holders sound really cool, but I wouldn’t want to take up the space that a vial could be using. So I just throw a couple of packets in my Hydapeaks. I also wasn’t using desiccant for a while and didn’t notice any moisture. I thought Hydrapeaks were air tight, but I...

I just get whatever bulk-pack is cheapest on Amazon. I 3d printed 3ml vial-sized containers for the desiccant and I put it into the "vials" then into the storage container that I have (32oz Hydrapeak with 3d printed dividers). I will say, I wasn't using desiccant for a while. As long as I...

Are hydrapeaks with these silicone inserts a big waste of space?

I'm just using that Amazon 63 vial holder and a 3D printed 50 vial holder with 3 desiccant packs in each. I also have a 4 vial 3D in the kitchen fridge with one desiccant. That's the one I'm currently pinning from.

Thank so much! I think that 64 would be great compared to 48 and would still allow for some organization and protection while maximizing storage, especially for the long-term things. I just ordered some desiccant packs to throw in there meantime.

Are hydrapeaks with these silicone inserts a big waste of space?

The desiccant only matters to the extent that it protects the contents of the vials from moisture. If the vials are properly sealed, you don't need them. If your thermos container doesn't let moisture enter then you don't need them. The reason people use them is as a mitigation strategy in...

Long term storage of kits prepared for the next Pepocalypse consists of silica desiccant packs in vacuum sealed sous vide cooking bags in the chest freezer (-20C). Near term kits in the fridge alongside reconned vials.

    Freezing peptides?

I put mine in a foam case made for 3ml vials, toss in a couple of desiccant packets (precaution) and toss them in the freezer. No need to vacuum seal but you can if you want. It just makes for more work on your end. For 12 months, the refrigerator works just fine.

Does vacuum sealing for storage interfere with vacuum sealed vials?

I did this also. I only used a partial vacuum so the vials were not smashed together so hard. I did not add a desiccant but if I had one it could not hurt.
