PGB Membership

While it's true that PGB charges more, they also test everything and also have members testing as well. Orders are coming from a US warehouse so no worrying about customs seizing packages. Most orders arrive in less than a wk after ordering if its something they have in stock. They also do pre buys for stuff not in stock. Plus they include free bac water.

It’s pretty annoying that they’re experiencing issues with their NAD showing rapid, significant degradation and instead of disclosing what they used as a buffer (which is a likely culprit) they’re forcing the community to crowdfund and then wait for testing for it. The result is the same, we figure out the buffer, but they’re choosing to lose a whole bunch of good will by going about it this way. Jlo has really lost sight of the community out of which he made his business, it’s been sad to watch.

All the pretesting doesn’t mean much if you’re using ingredients that lead to premature degradation. Between that, the price increases, and the pain in the ass payment methods, I’m no longer sure what makes them better than any other option. And I was recommending them a few weeks ago so don’t call me an axe grinder or whatever.

Looks like you're headed to Nexaph for your next buy :D

They actually stopped doing pre-buys a few months ago. I think it was too much of a PITA for them to manage.

Truthfully if I was in urgent need I’d probably roll the dice on one of the China sources with a domestic warehouse during a promo, not sure which one right now but I’d do the research on the situation at that moment. I would try to coordinate with some friends so we could order at the same time and team up on testing.

But things are in so much flux and all these vendors are such a mess that im standing by and waiting for someone to pull ahead of the pack.

It's my understanding that, after a problem batch incident, they no longer offer a new batch for sale until they've properly tested it. So that rules out pre-buys.

According to what PGB posted 8 days ago it says they are sending in 4 vials to Janoshik for testing. Also, I know that there was a lot of issues with NAD testing in the past so it might have something to do with the test, not the product.

What were the issues with the testing in the past? everyone else gets their NADs tested by Jano.

I know that Prime Analytical Laboratories wrote a reported date January 21, 2025, stating that PGB NAD+ tested as 92.15% pure. I'm not going to post it here since I don't want to read the rules of pgbchat.com and learn whether I can repost images. It was posted today; I assume it was probably posted earlier.

Purity cannot be determined accurately, but mass/fill can be. What were the problems with previous testing of nad? And why do you think it's a problem with the test and not the nad?
At this point, I'm pretty much chasing squirrels, going off researching things that I probably shouldn't be. I heard that PGB had some NAD+ that supposedly had tested poorly. I don't use NAD+ but do use PGB. I was curious enough to jump on the PGB forum. I saw an image of a test result showing low purity. I'm attaching it. From what you're saying, the purity percentage cannot be relied upon. The analysis states that the "Net Peptide Content" is 497.92 mg compared to a labelled 500 mg of NAD+. That causes me to think two things: First, 497.92 mg is extremely close to the the 500 mg claimed. Without doing any math, I know that 's above 99% of the labelled amount. Second, if NAD+ is not a peptide, a laboratory should not be calling it a a peptide. Also, the 92.15% purity rate cannot be accurately determined, if I understand correctly what you and Janoshik are stating. I do not know if it's only this particular test that has caused some folks to question the NAD+ quality from PGB. However, I have not seen any other tests questioning the PGB NAD+ quality. But there might be since I haven't been following this issue, and I do tend to get distracted and chase squirrels.
