Hospira BAC water availability

FWIW, I have used BD and EasyTouch, and the EasyTouch they sell at DW are just as good, I think. Super smooth needles that slide right in, good plungers, easy to read markers. If you're in a pinch, you should give them a try!
I got a 10 pack of easy touch from Amazon to start with and had to force them in a bit. They make a divit in my skin and kind of pop in. BD from ADW just slide right in.

Oh no!! I didn't have that experience. I can understand not wanting to use them, in that case.

Thank you! Good to have a recommendation. I also find the ones Walmart sells, the ReliOn brand to work very well. They will sell a pack of 10 without a prescription, but there are no Walmarts in NYC either. LOL, I pick up a pack whenever I go to one in NJ. They are very smooth and easy.

I've heard {but have no personal experience} that some of the Amazon sellers are selling counterfeit syringe brands. I've just steered clear of them in general.

I have a case from AMSCO and three from Westend. The three I got from ebac-water look sketchy just as the post on Peppys shows. That would also explain the June 2026 exp which no other supplier has. I ordered from ebac before even considering that someone would fake Hospira BAC water...

Left is ebac, right is westend. Stopper is not flat, cap is not flat, there's a weird hole in the label.

AMSCO will currently sell you a case for pretty cheap.View attachment 1325
"Ebac" has been well known for nearly a year to be selling counterfeit Hospira in addition to selling "legit" but expired Hospira using an X-Acto knife to cut off the expiry date from the label. Unfortunately info like this can get lost in the haze over time as the majority of people know to avoid and can miss mentions of them by newer folks since there are always people talking about where to get BAC and the conversation gets tiring.

Not sure what kind of vetting allows a bad vendor like this to make anyone's "list" but without weeks/months of history clearly demonstrating any vendor is reliable and trustworthy I would never just add a vendor to some list because a couple of people who might not know better reported a good experience. Sometimes you just have to wait for someone who has been doing this for a while to see the conversation and respond.

FWIW I just approved vendor status for a new vendor offering BAC water that I expect will be making posts here soon. While I don't have any experience with them personally, someone else I know and respect in the community has told me that it was started by another well-known, well-liked, and well-respected member of the community.

FINALLY, this whole "BAC disappearing" thing is bullshit. My flies on the wall tell me that one of the major medical supply distributors has begun limiting distribution to some low-volume wholesale customers which I'm sure the majority of peptide vendors are "low volume" compared to most buyers. And while there are occasionally BAC shortages just like there are for anything else, as people here have demonstrated here in their own purchases there isn't any "disappearing" taking place.

Amazin Marketplace seems legit at first glance. Hiwever, it id unregulated in any meaningful way. Their “bacteriostatic water” vendors are sketchy to the point if being dangerous. There have.been infection outbreaks from contaminated products and resulting criminal prosecutions. Amazon cannot be relied upon to police their vendors and ensure good, safe syringes.

You make an excellent point @ZippityDooDah.

My information comes from input by members here, and ebac-water.com was recommended for listing just a few days ago.

A wide Google search for reviews turned up nothing negative about ebac-water.com
More significant: multiple searches of GLP1forum.com turned up no negative information regarding ebac-water.com

Listing ebac-water.com and making them visible has prompted an informative discussion and a correction of the Bac Water sources list - just as it should.

Absent postings by informed members such as yourself, it is not possible to be fully informed about a vendor.

In surveying the US peptide market I noticed that 4 of the 6 top vendors dropped HOSPIRA brand products in the same 3-day period.

As I have ongoing conversations with some of them I called up an owner and asked about this; it seemed more than coincidence. The result was the NEWS article I published in the Public Square which contained the following quote:

" When asked one prominent peptide-business owner replied "No cease and desist but they have tightened access and it's coming. We refuse to carry some random Chinese made reconstitution solution so it's Hospira or bust for us". He requested anonimity. "

The top peptide vendors are a close-knit group as you doubtless know Zip. My contact spoke as if his sentiments were shared by the others. Should I NOT report this to the forum? Just ignore it?

How is this information Bullshit?

That's not good to hear.

Has anyone else in NY been able to order from AMSCO?

Someone else posted about not being able to get syringes in NY, so hopefully, no offense, it's just a NY thing.
I am not in NY but in CT. Rx is required for Bac water in CT. I ordered from Amsco last Tuesday, I emailed the guy Matthew back on Thursday to answer his question ( he never replied me) and as it today my order is still processing. I am not sure if they are gonna ship the Bac water to me 😭 I am almost ran out of my BAC water, I wish they let me know so I can order somewhere else

I'm the NYer who posted about not being able to buy syringes from certain places because I am in NY, and you need a prescription for them. I have found a couple of places that will ship to me and I'm not asked anything. I also ordered from Amsco only yesterday. Received an email confirmation and they charged me. So here's hoping.

Sadly, I too ordered from e-bac not knowing they are a bad actor. I've been charged and received a tracking #. Assuming it's bad, I'd love my $ back, but concerned about raising a stink since in NY you need a prescription for the stuff.

I am in CT. I ordered BAC water from Amsco last Monday morning, got tracking on Wednesday and it arrived on Saturday. Never got a questioning email from them. Good luck!

FYI exp date Nov 2025. I ordered from Peptide Shop and their expiration date is May 2025.

If you’re purchasing many or are willing to sell off a few: https://amscomedical.com/product-index/bacteriostatic/bacteriostatic-water-30ml-794

$75 for 25 count 30ml vials
$3/vial
I have personally purchased this and it showed up in 2 days by UPS.
Expiration: NOV 2025
How did you get yours with Nov 25 expiration? I ordered from them this weekend 8/18, order was confirmed, but then the account manager said it was March/April 25 expiration date so he's cancelling my order and refunding me and will let me know when they have 11/25 stock

I ordered on August 8th and got the November 2025 stock. I didn't ask about expiration or email them at all.

Very strange. I'd received that email from Amsco saying hi I'm your account manager so I emailed back asking for expiration date Then I saw a couple of people on here, you, I think, being one, had just ordered from them and received 11/25. So I ordered yesterday and today account manager Matthew emailed back saying March/April 25 expiration. Called him and asked if he was sure because I understood it was 11/25... Anyway I've cancelled my order because I don't need more 5/25, I won't come close to using it up.

Mine showed as still processing a day after it arrived. Some people got it by UPS, mine came by FedEx. According to the label on the box, it shipped 2 days after I ordered, and I received it 4 days later... 6 days total from order to arrival, including weekend.

Edit: technically, an Rx is required for back water ANYWHERE, but for whatever reason, it's generally sold without one.

I ordered last Wednesday and just checked… my order is still pending. Bet they are low on BAC water with all of our orders!
Just got the email from Matthew asking what business I was in. Luckily I am opening a Home Health company so I put that down. Asked him when I would receive my order… will keep you updated. Fingers crossed for that FedEx delivery!

I just ordered a box from Amsco. Happy to split it with anyone if interested.

I also ordered over the weekend and just reached out to Matthew this morning about the expiration dates, he told me 05/2025. I had to cancel because I already have a bunch of hospira bacteriostatic water with that date, I was actually hoping for a later date, at least 11/2025.

Weird isn't it? I need to check to see if he refunded me.

I was scrolling through Peppys and saw that PepPen has it for $6!

Wow! Has anyone used those pens? Reminds me of OZ pen. Seems much more convenient than syringes.

Learn so much here! Thanks for the link.

Also, does everyone use up 30ml BAC?
My past usage was 2ml vials. I guess depends on strength of peptide used, but if some are getting 4-6 weeks out of single peptide vial, using 1-2ml BAC to reconstitute, wouldn't only 2-4ml be used before having to throw away?

I’ve bought 3 pens but haven’t used yet. I plan to load one up this week. Lots of people raving about them.

I have 3 on the way. Wasn’t on my radar till I understood how they worked and the cartridges can hold 3ml which means I can buy vials with higher strengths and greatly reduce the number of times I need to draw from them.

Wonder what the expiration date is!
I just sent an email to verify it's Hospira and ask the Exp date. I'll post when I get reply.

Wow! That was quick. Here's there reply

"I’m not in the office, but they are Hospira and it’s usually a year out on the expiration. It comes from a pretty busy medical supply place and I turn my inventory at least 1 to 2 times a month.

PepPens Team"

Quite a few people rave about the pens. I just ordered a couple off of alibaba, haven’t used them yet. I did test fill a cartridge with water so I don’t F it up with real product, lol.

There’s another person who does them state side, and can maybe customize them, I saw some cool looking ones on Discord. The user is @Toads Pens. They may be here too bc that just filled in itself! Lol

I just received my order from PepPens.
Ordered last week when they were running the half off sale on pens.
My order was missing one of the 4 pens I had ordered and I sent an email to them that afternoon. They responded back apologizing for the mistake and said they would get the pen in the mail that same day. I received a tracking number yet that night for the new shipment.
I will be experimenting with the pens this weekend and if I like how they work I will definitely look at buying from them again. 👍

Awww...maybe I should of waited. I didn't know about the sales. I just ordered a pen, kit & an extra BAC. 🤞

I had been thinking about ordering from china but liked the idea of getting everything at same time and knowing the pieces would all work together.
Initial observation is I wish some of the internal pieces had metal threads instead where the needle threads on and the drive gear pieces on the plunger specifically. Don't know how well they will hold up over time...
Also they don't appear to have some of the higher end extras like not being able to dial higher than what is left in the pens?, 1/2 steps on dial, and an APP ( 🤣 ) None of which do I feel is needed

Really looking forward to experimenting with them on my RS this weekend.

How do these work? Are the vials (the glass part) disposable and the pen/mechanical part is multi use? So, you load the vial, use it however many times it takes to use it up, then remove the vial and insert a new one?

Are pen needle fittings standard, i.e.-can I buy any brand?

How do you fill the cartridge, do you use a syringe to fill or does it open? I wish there would just be a video on this website of a demonstration!

Some of those questions is why I went with these to start...so I knew everything would work together...lol

They have a couple videos on the peppen website showing how they do it if you scroll down some.

Yea you fill the cartridge with your Rx put it in the pen an push out air...Change out needle each time you inject...Replace cartridge with next one when it's used up.

May need to start a new thread so we don't hijack this one 🙂

Top Vendors Say No To Chinese Made Recon Solutions - UPDATED 18 AUGUST

Pfizers HOSPIRA Brand Bacteriostatic is disappearing from peptide vendor sites.
It seems legal pressures have caused this industry-leading product to rapidly become scarce.

In the past three days several popular US sources have sold out or removed HOSPIRA from view. Skye Peptides, Polaris and other top sales outlets no longer list it.

UPDATE: Industry sources say Bacteriostatic Water may soon lbecome unavailable if you cannot supply a medical license or a prescription. That is the legal basis on which pressure to desist is being applied to the vendors.

Among the Top Quality Aware outlets I follow only Precision Peptides and Tydes Research still have HOSPIRA Brand Bacteriostatic Water available for purchase.

Quality Aware Peptide Vendor Sources
Precision Peptides - Hospira 30ml Vial $14.00 each
Tydes Research - Hospira 30ml Vial $12.00 each

Other Vendors who have Bacteriostatic Water available
without requiring a medical license:
Atlantic Medical Supply - Bacteriostatic Water 30ml $13.99
Bacteriostatic Water - Hospira 30ml Vial $16.95
Direct Health Shop - Hospira 30ml Vial $14.95
Peptide Shop - Hospira 30ml Vial $8.00
Peptide Stock - Hospira 30ml Vial 3-Pack $30.00
Pharma Grade Peptides - Hospira 30ml Vial $12.99
Westend Medical Supply - Hospira 30ml Vial $16.95

Bulk Orders
AMSCO Medical - Hospira 30ml Vial - 25/box $75.00

When asked one prominent peptide-business owner replied "No cease and desist but they have tightened access and it's coming. We refuse to carry some random Chinese made reconstitution solution so it's Hospira or bust for us". He requested anonimity.

I don't know how others may feel about this impending shortage. For myself and my Research Alligator I've ordered a year's supply of HOSPIRA to hoard store along with an equal amount of GLP1s.

Thank you! Did the bulk order!
