I'm going to shoot for losing 100 pounds in 6 months

Have you tried any of the clear protein that tastes like juice or lemonade? Before that, found it impossible to get my protein in.
What are your favorite clear proteins? I cannot do anything that thickens the liquid- that just really makes me wanna puke

I looked up that condition. Pretty sure it's just a combo of deep fat and subq fat for me. You can go to a Patriots game and see 1000s of guys that look that way.

Not really. Ascetis isn’t a condition, it’s a symptom of a condition. If you’ve got that pregnant belly, there’s a specific cause for that inflammation, often related to cirrhosis, but can also be inflammation from other malignant processes in the abdomen.

I don’t mean to scare you, but that hard pregnant belly isn’t just “deep fat.” My former boss died from cancer, first sign of malignant ascetis.

What about cryolipolysis? Isn't that specifically designed to kill stubborn fat pockets in specific areas? And I think the recovery time is like zero. Not sure how well it works though, other than vague assurances that it DOES work to some extent.
Google "paradoxical adipose hyperplasia" before considering cryolipolysis!

i have a wife i have to get any office procedure approved thru. Any of you have one of those? I do not own my body, she does. With these injections i can just do it on the down low.

Let's give these time to work and see how it goes.w

Edit: watching vids of lipo where they ram that rod around under your skin 1000 times makes me want to pee myself a little bit. I guess i'm a whimp. I know it.

cryolipolysis? how do you not get frostbite. it seems it would damage the skin.
Absolutely love your selective skepticism.

I use isopure. It goes on sale on Amazon pretty often, I just got the 36 servings on sale for $38. If you do subscribe and save it's cheaper but I like to switch up the flavors, I'd get bored with the same one every month.

Thanks so much- gonna try some

Great work losing weight but I'm not sure this is sustainable. I did something similar after bariatric surgery. Lost 110 lbs in roughly 8 months. Then it just became almost impossible to lose weight. I was gaining weight on 1400 cals a day. When I cut it some more to lose weight my brain would go asleep on me. Cortisol was through the roof. My enzymes were all over the place. In the end i had to deal with a 25 lbs regain over the following year. Absolutely wrecked my metabolism/Homeostasis.
That being said, Glp-1s are a completely different kettle of fish. They (and those other things you're lining up) may help to get you across your finish line, but the finish line is only a point on the very long line that comprises a weight loss journey. Will you be able to maintain the GW? How much more Meds will you need to maintain the GW? Just don't do something whacky to your metabolism. The human body is remarkable at 'compensating' until it gives up, then everything falls apart at the same time...
Which bariatric surgery did you have? It sounds like we had a very similar experience with losing 110 lb, but then experiencing regain and struggling to lose it. Hence why I'm here ...

How much have you spent on this so far? Seems like you have a lot of stuff

OK so the stronger injections such as Desobody caused the fat to harden up in some spots. I'll keep you posted on how long they take to resolve. They say it takes weeks for the body to remove dead cells.
Play stupid games...
I pulled this off some plastic surgery/beauty spa site. So it is working as its supposed to and everything is on track.

  • How it works
Fat dissolving injections, such as Kybella or PCDC, are injected into fat cells, causing them to become inflamed and harden. The body's natural processes then break down and eliminate the hardened fat cells.

Having a plastic surgeon do this for you is a bit different than YOLO self injection with untested products. This is even more true with items that are clinically proven to cause DNA damage (which can lead to colon cancer with Kybella when used enough for example).

See even the citations in: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deoxycholic_acid

If you're looking to get medical advice from a place that is marketing + selling it to you, you're going to have a bad time. Pubmed and medical journals should be your friends.

Just calling it out since you were injecting 10x dosages of things recently and you have an experimental pharmacy brewing in your belly.

I ask this genuinely and without judgement. Have you ever done this much research into what mania looks like?

it was just testosterone and it was 10x dose of TRT but still in a normal range many college kids take to go to gym
but we all know oyster is a brave guy, he first try it and after do research only, but im a big fan!!!

I'm deceased.

You are quite possibly one of the funniest dudes I've encountered on a forum in a long time, and I'm a GenXer so that's really saying something.

Come 1/1/25, I'm posting an Oyster appreciation thread.

On top of everything else, mind you. That's hardly brave, that's reckless. I hope he has good health insurance.

To be fair, I have been on a higher dosage consistently for a couple years.

The dosage isn't really the issue, but the circumstance and jumping to that dose without any testing (practical or medical).

Tbh, I'm a big fan of Oyster too. And I'm rather confident he makes his antics seem more reckless than they are on purpose

He's a fun little troll.

my threads are the most interesting here. That's not saying much as most here are post after post of "why have i not got my tracking number yet?" My pucks aren't intact. What if my shit gets opened in customs. Oh, oh i'm worried about this, i'm nervous about that.

blow my brains out.

Hey I just wanted to jump in here (late) and say a couple things:
Been on TRT for almost 20 years, added HCG this last year for testicular atrophy. It works really well. I take 100mg/1500IU per week of TestC/HCG

I started doing subQ shots this year and splitting my weekly dose into EOD shots, bc it’s easier for me to remember than 2x per week. I use a 1cc luerLock syringe with a 25ga needle to draw and then switch it to a 31G to inject. I rotate injection sites typically up and down my thighs or delts bc it’s completely painless and doesn’t even bleed with a 31g needle

There’s no reason to inject every 8 hours. Test usually takes an about weeks before you notice. HCG works faster, not being in a slow release oil like test. SubQ shots hurt way less than IM and cause less scarring. Also, because the shot is injected into subcutaneous fat, it is more slowly absorbed which reduces the amount of aromatase that occurs, which is the process where it turns into DHT and estrogen.

DHT is way more anabolic than test, but does react with the prostate and the hair cells on your head if you have the genes for pattern baldness. Dutastwride or Finasteride will reduce DHT but can reduce your sex drive and reduce the anabolic effects of T.

High Estrogen levels caused by excess Test have benefits in men, as long as the ratio of free test to estrogen is 10:1. There’s no need to start on an aromatase inhibitor (like arimidex/anastrazole) unless you experience side effects from the E2 (moodiness, loss of libido, sensitive nipples), or if your ratio is off

It’s very important to get labs and know your levels if you want the benefits of test. Also you can’t just stop and start taking testosterone: just one shot of 50mg of T will make your testicles stop producing natural testosterone for about a month, but the 50mg isn’t enough to replace the amount that would be produced: so in other words doing one shot of T here and there will cause your level to be lower than never doing any
