QSC is screwing around over a $135 credit!

is that what this is about?
I thought the user was trying to obtain the credit back or the item for the actual cost of said item at the time of purchase, which is irrelevant to the payment type then. Which seems very reasonable and fair. So I'm not sure why anyone is defending QSC(Alisa).

The only part I'd say is OP did use another rep so its not really a Tracy problem at all. Makes you wonder if all the QSC problems now are with Alisa and not actually Tracy though 🤣

this is not even computing with me. but after 10 pages and thousands of posts you'd think we'd have a handle on what the OP's problem is. This one thread is like 80% of the traffic on the site.

That is my understanding of the situation. Payment was sent in bitcoin for an item, the item sold out in the interim, and a credit was given to be used towards a future order. Fast forward, and the credit had reduced in value from $135 to $97, despite not being informed of there being a time limit on using the credit or there even being a logical reason why the credit would be worth less, as the payment should have increased in value over this time due to BTC increasing in value.

This is the reason why I will not use a seller who does not have paypal. Qsc you are becoming a scammer company.

This is why I asked for explicit confirmation. @Qingdao Sigma this whole fiasco came from a completely different sales team with QSC, and that team sets it's own policies. It does sound like OP is being jerked around, but not by Tracy. He had nothing to do with this at all.

If you don’t know what the issue is by this page I question whether you read the pages, it’s been stated and repeated several times

some sort of anal retentive shit about bitcoin.

i guess you couldn't summarize in one sentence for people who have a life and don't want to read 10 pages of bellyaching? its too hard?

You’re really a piece of work. Do you even think through anything you say?

Good luck finding a drug dealer that takes PayPal and lasts more than a few months.

You realize this isn’t exactly PayPal sanctioned activity, right?

Thing is, who else knew that Alisa and Tracy operate independently? That's great if these types of issues don't happen with Tracy but how many people know that they should only deal with Tracy?

If someone is told to buy from QSC then goes straight to their website's contact us page, you get Alisa's contact.

So how does something like this get fixed?

I never thought to even order from their website cause I half thought it was bullshit contact info anyway.

Have you ever clicked the product list on the website? On top of selling chemicals and food additives they also sell bulldozers and excavators lol. Every link sends you to 404 error.

Also the website mailing address is in florida.

Yeah, it wasn't directed at you but I got the Alisa email address years ago from somewhere, probably another forum.

Point is, how was I (or anyone else) suppose to know that QSC Alisa and QSC Tracy are basically different companies?

Use the “search” function on this forum. Plenty of posts warning against using Alisa.

Not everyone reads these forums. Did it exist in 2022? So everytime I order from a vendor I'm suppose to check if another sales rep is the "correct" one?

The smart watch giveaway is starting to sound really good now. 🤦‍♂️

The people who spent time and effort looking into a vendor before buying... this is why we preach doing your research.

So everytime I order from a vendor I'm suppose to check if another sales rep is the "correct" one?
Yes.

Here's 4 all found within 30 seconds using the search function.

Probably more but I'm not digging more than that.

I see one post that only says Tracy can't help with Alisa's order.

Only in this post it has been clearly defined that Tracy and Alisa have nothing to do with each other. Which for one company is still very abnormal.

You are asking for trouble if you don't. Seriously be careful, there are lots of fake sales reps that claim to work for reputable companies. Alisa isn't a scamer, just the worse of the 2 known QSC reps. But anyone who skips this step WILL get scammed. It's a matter of when, not if.

Good God, actually read them! All the posts I linked warn about Alisa.

you're making a terrible mistake in trying to inject some logic into their business operation.. while you're not wrong, it just doesn't (have to) work in that logical way. you have to adjust... (no matter the vendor).. but more importantly, my advice is to simplify as much as you can - the simpler the transaction, the less chance of things going sideways.

You're right, I got complacent with a false sense of security from previous transactions.

I get what you're saying.

Still, those other posts say don't use Alisa but not that they operate independently but under the same company. That information is only really clarified in this post.

Why doesn't Tracy make a post in the vendor forum that says Don't deal when Alisa! She has nothing to do with me! She represents a QSC that I have absolutely no power to do anything with bad orders.
